Travelers transiting through Taiwan on the same day without leaving the secure transit area typically don’t need a visa, but confirmed onward tickets are required. Check with your airline for any midnight transit restrictions. For longer stays or depending on your nationality, a visa might be needed.

The applicants who are Ghana, Myanmar, Nigeria and Nepal passport nationals, must be Singapore residents and hold an EP, DP, PEP, PR, S-Pass or LTVP. The applicant’s passport must be valid for at least 1 year from the date of exiting Taiwan.
You must have at least 2 empty pages in your passport. The passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of exiting Taiwan.
